The South Carolina Gamecocks baseball has suffered its first two losses of the recent MLB draft that saw 16 current roster players or recruits get chosen by MLB teams. In the last few days, junior college pitchers Donn Roach and Cam Greathouse came to terms with their respective teams, ending their chance to play at South Carolina.
Roach was drafted in the third round by the Angels out of the College of Southern Nevada. Greathouse came to agreement with the Chicago Cubs that selected him in the 8th round.
I could not find financial terms for the two but it had to be good money.
