42nd was South Carolina’s rank in scoring offense last season. The Gamecocks offense average 30.1 points per game. That number may be a little surprising since many people remember an offense that tried to grind games out and an early season that featured Steven Garcia’s struggles. To be fair the offense did benefit from high scoring affairs against East Carolina, Georgia, Citadel and Kentucky. Look for a more experience Connor Shaw and a healthy Marcus Lattimore to put up even more points this season.
