Today, we begin our countdown to the Gamecocks’ kickoff of the 2012 season. Each day from now until then, we’ll give you the days remaining and some reason that number is relevant to USC. Today, there are 100 days remaining until kickoff.
100 yard rushers. The Gamecocks return three running backs who have run for 100 yards in a game. Marcus Lattimore has accomplished the feat eight times. Kenny Miles and Brandon Wilds have both topped the century mark in three different games. Even Connor Shaw has rushed for 100 yards in a game. There won’t be many teams in the country with four ball carriers who have topped 100 yards in a game.
